june outtakes

Every month, close to his "monthiversary" date, I try and take half an hour to take pictures of Kes.  We start with a desk calendar for size comparison (that usually lasts 30 seconds) and then I try to catch him doing something that signifies his current stage (sitting, crawling, drooling, etc).  Here's an outtake from June.

mom's craft room/surprise makeover

My brother just got "evicted" from his old bedroom at my parents house and while they were away on vacation, we decided to make-over the room into an office/craft room for my mom. These are the before pictures:

the weekend in pictures

There were some big milestones this weekend: kes can easily climb out of his carseat, lacey ate 2 latkes (and loved them), and daniel graduated.  Ok, one of those things might be slightly bigger than the other two :).  Congratulations grads of 2011!

game 2

On Saturday we met some friends out at Central City in Surrey to watch the game with the masses.  It was fun, crowded, and crazy.  I'm pretty sure none of us saw any of the goals but I guess that's to be expected when there's about 2000 people sitting in front of you, even if it is a ginormous screen.  It was a fun experience overall, but I think if you really want to watch the game, you may be able to see it better on your own TV. It was warm and sunny, and around here, its just nice to do something outside for a change! :)
